Meet Michael Shayefar, DDS

Dr. Michael Shayefar is passionate about making dentistry comfortable, fun, and as pain-free as possible. A graduate of NYU College of Dentistry, he focused much of his training on working with children and patients with special needs. His commitment to helping others has also taken him abroad, including an outreach trip to Cambodia, where he provided dental care to children in underserved communities.

Dr. Shayefar believes a dental office doesn’t have to feel intimidating. He loves playing music, keeping the energy light, and making sure his patients feel relaxed and at home.

His favorite areas of dentistry include extractions, dentures, and crown work, but what he enjoys most is getting patients out of pain while taking a conservative approach to treatment and preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible.

Outside the office, Dr. Shayefar loves snowboarding and is a huge foodie. Ask him about food at your own risk—he can talk about it forever!
